The Server is responsible for providing prompt and courteous food and beverage service to all customers of the Lucky Dog Casino, as directed by the Restaurant/Bar Supervisor or Manager on Duty (MOD).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote customer service as a priority; which includes but is not limited to; providing prompt and courteous service to customers and receiving and delivering food and beverage orders.
Ensure customer satisfaction by following up with existing customers, and recognizing, assisting and resolving any adverse issues.
Ensure that customers are aware of menu items and special promotions, and may assist in ordering.
Relay orders correctly into the Micros system.
Garnish and decorate dishes in preparation to serve.
Serve customers and respond to additional requests by following the standards of quality that have been established.
May be called upon to act as a Bartender, Bar Back or a Cocktail Server when needed or as directed by the Restaurant/Bar Supervisor and the Manager on Duty (MOD).
Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course according to established duties.
Assist staff members in performing their duties whenever needed or as directed by the Restaurant/Bar Supervisor or MOD.
Adhere to the organizations policies and procedures, and state liquor laws, while practicing positive customer and employee relations.
Relay guest concerns to Restaurant/Bar Supervisor or MOD.
Maintain an appropriate level of stock in wait stations or bar station.
Collect payment for services through the efficient operation of the Micros system.
Replenish empty beverage containers.
Assure that all customers in the Casino/Bar are 21 years of age by requiring identification, regardless of appearance of age, prior to delivering alcohol.
Maintain a professional and neat work area
Meet attendance guidelines by reporting to work as scheduled with dependability and consistency.
Represent the company in a positive manner.
Maintain professional dress standards and personal appearance as dictated by the policy manual.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one (1) year of serving experience.
Read, write, speak and understand English. Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Interpersonal relations skills and a team-oriented attitude are required.
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Familiarity with MICRO’s system preferred.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Define problems, collect facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to multi task a must
CERTIFICATE AND LICENSES, REGISTARATIONS
Class II gaming license issued by the Skokomish Tribal Gaming Commission; Class 12 Mixologist Permit; Valid Washington State Driver’s License, and State of Washington Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a Skokomish Tribal Gaming License.
The Skokomish Gaming Commission shall not License for any Person who:
Is under the age of 21;
Has been convicted of, or entered a plea of no contest to a gambling offense, theft, embezzlement, fraud, or misrepresentation; unless 7 years have passed since the offense and the person is a member of a federally recognized Indian tribe who has been determined by the Tribe to be a person who is not likely again to engage in any offensive or criminal course of conduct;
Has been convicted of or entered a plea of guilty or no contest to any other offense related to honesty, violence, or drugs; this provision shall not apply if that person has been pardoned by the Governor of the State where the conviction occurred or if a member of a federally recognized Indian tribe has been determined by the Tribe to be a person who is not likely again to engage in any offensive or criminal course of conduct, and the public good does not require that the applicant be denied a License as a Key Employee or Primary Management Official; or
If the Commission determines that the person has participated in organized crime or unlawful gambling, or is a person whose prior activities, criminal record, reputation, habits, and/or associations pose a threat to the public interest or to the effective regulation and control of Gaming, or create or enhance the dangers of unsuitable, unfair, or illegal practices and methods and activities in the conduct of Gaming, or to the carrying on of the business and financial arrangements incidental to the conduct of Gaming.
